I'm all of these things and more, as I've learned from the responses to my Tyee column in recent weeks:

I'm a gatekeeper to the Ziocon false-flag hegemony. I'm an "Aspernazi whore."
My favourite: According to George Galloway, I'm proof that "the degeneration of that part of what once might have been considered left has no limit."
Comrade Andrew has come up with a remedy: "My plan is to fight madness with madness. It's a battle the conspiracy nuts cannot hope to win. For I am the Moscow of madness, whereas they are merely the provincial weather stations."

Bush, Blair and Harper have all been democratically elected.
So these lefties prefer to believe that:
-the majority of the population is tranfixed by a brain-washing experiment or has been fooled by a nefarious conspiracy theory
This is easier for lefties to accept, than to believe that the majority of the population simply disagrees with their ideas, based on the arguments that have been put forth by both sides.
Eventually, many will come to the conclusion that democracy is a failure and that we need to ruled by truly ethical people granted absolute power (communism).

If the surveys are accurate it seems that fully one third of the American public is prepared to believe that President Bush was behind 9/11.
This belief is completely illogical, since we know not only that al Qaeda carried out the attacks but also how the particular al Qaeda terrorists involved carried out their missions. And we know that the attacks were in the planning stages for at least two years before they were carried out.
Those who believe in the ultimate Bush fantasy can only maintain their delusion by ignoring the role of al Qaeda or by concluding that Bush was conspiring with al Qaeda even while he was Governor of Texas.
And how considerate of al Qaeda to take credit for the attacks and not spill the beans on their co-conspirator even as he unleashed American forces to drive them out of their sanctuary in Afghanistan and force their leaders to live in caves.
And, of course, how curious that in an age of anti-administration leaks not one of the many dozens -or would it be hundreds or even thousands - who must have participated in the biggest hoax in history has leaked any information about the conspiracy.
And for those who believe that Bush did not conspire with al Qaeda but simply allowed the attacks to take place- so that he could liberate 58 million Muslims- clearly he could have justified the "attacks" on Afghanistan and Iraq if he had thwarted the attacks of 9/11. And if had prevented the attacks of 9/11 he would have been the all time American hero and he could have claimed the attacks would have killed 50,000, not 3,000, Americans.
And from whence came this overwhelming mania of GWB that this good Christian man would risk his own neck and condemn his soul to eternal damnation by attacking his own country? Do these wingnuts really think he attacked his own country so he could justify liberating Muslims from tyranny. (And please don't insult my intelligence, and your own, by claiming that the motivation was oil. The U.S. has stolen not one drop of oil from Iraq.)
And the same peope who were capable of the 9/11 conspiracy wouldn't have been capable of successfully conspiring to plant WMD in Iraq?
What is it about Bush that has provoked such widespread insanity?
It's one of the fundamental questions of our time. One of my theories is that if you are a pacifist you want to cast George Bush as a villain so you can ignore the rise of Islamofascism.

And when you put your views out there Dirk, as a writer, you should expect that they will be criticized-, but not banned.
I am not a Holocaust denier. Indeed I understand that millions of Jews, along with millions of Communists, Anarchists, Socialist, Atheists and Russians (who had more dead in the Second World War than all others combined), along with Slavs, Gypsies and homesexuals. What I question is, is the legitimacy of the Zionist State of Israel, imposed upon the people of Palestine, by the UN or whatever, who were not connected with the crimes of Hitler in any way, and indeed, until the Zionist Stern and other gangs turned on them, provided the Jews escaping Europe with sanctuary. To expect that Palestinians should lie down and surrender their country in order to compensate for European war crimes, and have Zionist Israel with Amerikan strategic aid, deliver its own Holocaust upon the people of Palestine, is a crime not even a growing body of Jewish opinion agrees with; Orthodox Jewry and others, in Israel, Great Britain, Amerika, and elsewhere in the world.
Glavin needs to come clean and acknowledge this as well. And to speak out against Tyee or any other such bannings of opinion such as mine.
Jews are themselves increasingly divided along similar lines and engaged to the kind of debate now launched here in Canada and elsewhere, questioning Israel and Zionist Israeli policy in Palestine. It is a legitimate debate for them, and for we gentiles no less.

What I question is, is the legitimacy of the Zionist State of Israel, imposed upon the people of Palestine, by the UN or whatever, who were not connected with the crimes of Hitler in any way, and indeed, until the Zionist Stern and other gangs turned on them, provided the Jews escaping Europe with sanctuary.
In fact, the Stern gang did not come into existence until the late 1930's, long after the Arab pogrom against Jews in Tsfat in 1834, long after the Arab pogroms against Jews in Palestine in 1920 & 1921, 1929 and 1930, and after the first intifada (aka the Arab Revolt) between 1936 and 1939, the latter which not only murdered Jews, but also killed and expelled most of the Arab opposition to Haj Amin al-Husseini.
As for Israel's legitimacy, I couldn't care less if Israel's enemies question it, but I would add two salient facts to the debate.
First, since the early 1930's not only Haj Amin al Husseini, the leader of the Palestinian Arabs and his cadres, but also the so-called 'Green Shirts' movement and Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and then during the early 1940's in Iraq and Syria, the followers of Rashid Ali all sought out and obtained material support from the Nazis. Google "farhud" to see how Arab nationalists treated Jews during WWII.
The Zionist policy toward Arab violence prior to the late 1930's and the emergence of the Stern Gang, was to maintain guards at the perimeters of their settlements - which were bought earlier at inflated prices from comprador bourgeoise absentee and local effendis like Amin al-Husseini - and otherwise refrain from retaliating against Husseini and Black Hand jihadists. This mainstream Zionist policy was called 'havlaga' (a Hebrew word meaning: self-restraint).
It was only after the the 3 year long Palestinian Arab leadership's revolt which began in 1936 that the most marginal fraction of the Zionist movement, the right wing revisionists, splintered creating the even smaller groupscule of Zionist militant cadres of Avraham Stern. Moreover, the Stern gang was opposed by mainstream Zionists who found their violent tactics repugnant and counterproductive.
Second, the reason the Jews in British Mandate Palestine achieved self-determination and statehood is not because the United Nations voted in favour of a two state solution, but rather because the Jews in Palestine weren't defeated, exterminated and/or ethnically cleansed by either the local pan-Arab nationalist militias during their jihad in 1947, nor by the six invading Arab armies who initiated the violence in 1948, despite assistance from the British to Transjordan and despite no assistance to Palestinian Jews either from the British, or the American governments. Had the Jews of Palestine been defeated by the invading Arab armies and their local allies, the UN vote would never have occurred as it would have been moot to vote on a two state partition after the Jews of Palestine had been wiped out.
Finally, just because some antizionists happen to have Jewish family backgrounds or are ultratheocrats like the Neturei Carta, doesn't automatically make their views legitimate, or laudable, anymore than saying that because the hilltop youth type of religious Zionists vehemently oppose the Israeli government, their views are legitimate or laudable. Sorry my error. The UN vote on partition took place on November 29, 1947, not after the Arab armies invaded as I had suggested erroneously in my last post.
Nonetheless, had the Jews of Palestine been defeated and exterminated and/or expelled, not only would UNGA resolution 181 (which was not a Security Council resolution and therefore not binding under Chapter VII of the UN Charter) have been a dead letter, but also the recognition of Israel's statehood by other countries (11 minutes after the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel at 18:00 (Washington, D.C. time), on 14 May 1948, the United States formally recognized the State of Israel, followed by Guatemala, Nicaragua and Uruguay. The Soviet Union recognized the State of Israel on 17 May 1948, followed by Poland, Czechoslovakia (formally), Yugoslavia (formally), Republic of Ireland and South Africa) after Israel declared its statehood on May 14, 1948 would not have mattered an iota either.
