The Genius Huckabee: "Congratulations Canada on Preserving Your National Igloo."

This guy could very well be the next President of the United States:

Meanwhile, avante-garde American left-wing journal Counterpunch exhorts masses to support right wing, tax-cutting, anti-abortion Texas Republican Ron Paul.

More: Mike Huckabee is "a smirking hick. . . an unusually stupid primate. . . who does not have the elementary intelligence to recognize the fact that this is what he is."

There's a very good blog piece here detailing bills that Ron Paul has proposed in congress. It finds--surprise, surprise--that Ron Paul is a fucking lunatic and is "not friendly to progressive ideas".

Counterpunch truly are a vile bunch.

Gee what a surprise! Leftists supporting a fascist out of common hatreds. Now when has this happened before? Hmmm, something about the Comintern and various far-leftists, the nineteen-thirties, and a small man of German heritage come to mind....

"There is a larger point..there isn't a whole lot of difference between the wants, needs and desires of the anti-war traditional conservatives and the anti-war leftists and progressives."

"Are we to forever be held back by issues, such as abortion or even National Health Care.."

I'm without speech.

Huh, go figure.

Two days later the "vile" Counterpunch "exhorts" its readers to reject Ron Paul.

Maybe, just maybe, an article by Donna J. Volatile (you're right, "who?") doesn't count as an official position...

I think politics is better seen as a search for conflict resolution than as its achievement, as not all conflicts are, or can be, resolved.

Basically politics is the activity through which people make, preserve and amend the general rules under which they live.
