"Now I Have My Own Canadian Death Panel Telling Me When I'm Going To Die."

For Pete's sakes, Yanks. Calm the hell down.

"I had a horrible dream I was surrounded by socialists trying to kill me with their free medicine."

They can't calm down. Ive been writing about the U.S. medical/healthcare system for 15 years. Healthcare is either 1/6 or 1/7 of the entire U.S. economy, trillions of dollars, and the vested interests that stand to lose have no intention of doing so. Which is why the campaign against Obama's mild reforms is exactly as hysterical and insane as the campaign against the Clinton reforms of 1993. Plus ca change and all that... You have to feel sorry for the poor Yanks who are duped into this paranoia/panic about "choice," when in fact they are the ones without much choice, as anyone who's visited a clinic not on their HMO's list can tell you.

But Robert! Zut, alors!

In Canada, no one ever catches a cold. In Toronto, nobody locks their doors. We have no guns here, and everyone feels just so sorry for our American cousins, only we never say so, because that would be impolite.

The RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT ("RtoP" or "R2P") is a new international security and human rights norm to address the international community’s failure to prevent and stop genocides, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.

The r2p's principle's need to be put into action regarding American health care social sadism. The thicko useless pieces of shit Yanklanders obviously need our help and protection. Time to send in the troops.

A humanitarian catastrophe that is killing tens of thousands of people is yank 'health care' system unfolds before our eyes.

Send in the combined forces of the international community now. They fucking need it.

Perhaps N Geras can do a fucking blog post in support of such an intervention?
